No printers networked on a public computer

Occasionally students discover that there are no printers installed on the machine that they are using. According to MIS, this is because the printers are installed with a network group policy and this occasionally fails and does not install the printers correctly. Restarting the machine will fix this problem.

Direct links to Library Resources if homepage is down

Below are direct links to some of the library's resources if the library homepage or springshare sites in general go down:

From within RVOneSearch, the links to Catalog and Journals at the top left of the screen will still work to access the library catalog and the Full Text Finder directly.

The Mathematica software is available on Library computers. It is actually called 'Wolfram Mathematica'. Users will need to click on the start menu followed by 'All Programs' and scroll down to 'W' to access it.

To access MATLAB students will need to do the following:

1. Click on the 'Start Menu'. Click on 'Citrix' next to the Internet Explorer icon near the top (under Adobe Reader).
 2. Click INSTALL
 3. A new window will open that students can just close because it has nothing to do with their program.
 4. The original window asks you to confirm installation. User will click 'Continue'.
 5. User can now access MATLAB which is actually called Citrix XenApp with credentials they should already have.
